The Hardest Car Quiz: 19 Analogue Dashboards from Classic Cars to Identify
This is without doubt the hardest car quiz ever (Editor: it really, probably, isn’t).
It will have tyre-kickers running for the hills and put any over-confident car-buff firmly back in his hole.
Crikey, even 33% is a good score in this ridiculously difficult ‘Dashboard’ challenge.
Mind you, having said all that, the first 5 questions are proper gimme’s.
So, forget all that, let me tempt you with a mindless quiz.
Can you (really be bothered) to identify 19 of the coolest classic and sports car analogue instrument clusters?
That is the challenge before you…
To take our ridiculously difficult, analogue (mostly) Instrument Cluster Challenge, just follow the photo’s below.
And be sure to share your results! Good luck.
It’s multiple choice with only one correct answer. You may have to scroll up a bit to see your score at the end. It is ludicrously hard.
Go ahead and share your score in the comments below, on the socials with your wife, whatever you want 🙂

Your daily’s dashboard has no doubt been honed over the years to give you just what you need, as clearly as possible, right where you need it. You probably don’t even see it anymore. It’s just there.
Speed, mileage, RPM, fuel, water temp, oil pressure, oil temp, turbo boost, not to mention warning lights and noises. It’s just all very omni-present when you’re driving.
Having just read this ‘15 of the Greatest Automotive Instrument Clusters of All Time‘ on Gear Patrol and not necessarily agreeing with all their choices, I thought I’d cobble a few non-digital dashboards together to test your knowledge.
You’d be hard pushed to find as beautiful array of analogue dashes, dials and gauges anywhere else on the web. Probably.
